“I could be the sunlight”
she said as she looked up at the blazing torch in the sky.
The sunlight is bright, vibrant, and light.
A lot of the time people say she is energetic and outgoing.
I would say the sun is outgoing as well.
“It is very warm out. It is like the Sahara desert”
I said and looked up at the sky along with her.
She stands there with a smile on her face,
her right hand along her eyebrows to shade the sun from blinding her.
“Agreed. Very much agreed.”
She says this and turns to go grab her lemonade inside.
Lemonade on hot days like this,
when the sunlight is so golden and heated, it is perfect.
